You can create a list of trusted devices that will not be blocked by StopUSB. For example, it can be your personal external drive or USB token.
Adding a Device to the Whitelist
To add a removable device to the whitelist:
- Click Device Whitelist in left hand menu.
- Click the Add New button.
- Find your device in the list of connected devices.
- If the device is not connected, connect it so that it appears in the list.
- Select the device in the list and click Add to Whitelist.
- The selected device should appear in the Trusted removable storage devices list.
Removing a Device from the Whitelist
To remove a removable device from the whitelist:
- Click Device Whitelist in left hand menu.
- Find and select the device in the Trusted removable storage devices list and click the Remove button.
- The selected device should disappear from the list.
