Uninstalling Universal Shield

The uninstall process can only be carried out if Universal Shield is not running. If you have password-protected Universal Shield, you will need to know the password to be able to uninstall the software. (For more information, see "Password Protection".)

  • Close Universal Shield.
  • Use the Windows Add/Remove Programs tool in the Control Panel to perform a clean uninstallation of Universal Shield.
  • If Universal Shield is password protected, enter the password when prompted.

Before uninstalling Universal Shield, you should save the list from the main window. You can then simply reload the list if you subsequently reinstall the program rather than having to recreate it. Read Save list... for details.
