Universal Shield is Try Before You Buy software. It is NOT intended to be free or public domain use, which means that you can evaluate the program for a specified amount of time and register it if you think that it will meet your needs or-otherwise, you must stop using it. In the case with Universal Shield, the trial period is set for 30 days.

The trial version of Universal Shield is NOT crippled in any way, nor is there any functionality disabled in the program. This allows you to properly try out the software, so that you know whether this is what you want.

However in the unlicensed copy (trial version): You will have a trial notification screen upon startup, a message stating you are running in evaluation mode in the main window title bar and also a screen on exit, asking you for your feedback on Universal Shield.

Once you purchase the program, you will not get these limitations anymore, and you will also qualify for full technical support and free upgrades. See the order page for more information.
